Episode 62: Corinne Jorgenson
Saturday, March 25, 2023

Writer and cognitive scientist Corinne Jorgenson is our guest for the first episode of That Word Chat in front of a live audience.

Jorgenson is COO of RedPoint AI, a machine learning and artificial intelligence consulting firm, and a writer at Dragonfly Editorial. She is pursing a PhD in cognitive psychology at the University of Cincinnati, where she is working on a research study comparing ChatGPT with other AI editors and human editors.

We will talk to her about what artificial intelligence might mean for content creation and word editing. And we'll do it as part of the 27th national conference of ACES: The Society for Editing in Columbus, Ohio.

This special episode of That Word Chat with Editor Mark Allen will take place at 9 a.m. ET (13:00 UTC). It will be live on Zoom, and also live for conference attendees at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Jorgenson' background spans the defense and intelligence community, research and development, engineering and health. She's was recognized in 2018 as one of 40-under-40 by the Association of Proposal Management Professionals. She has a bachelor's degree in English and a master's in management from
